The skies were full of dog lovers in Peterborough this week as more than fifty greyhound enthusiasts took to the heavens for an enormous charity skydive, raising more than £83,000 in support of the Retired Greyhound Trust (RGT).
Despite some weather-related delays, 51 brave souls took to the skies to show their passion for greyhounds by jumping from a plane at 13,000 ft and plummeting at 120 mph back down to Earth.
After this exhilarating ride, the jumpers were joined by other greyhound lovers for an after party at the Angel Inn Pub, Yarwell, with a BBQ, live music and an auction where supporters could bid for a number of great prizes, from concert tickets to luxury hotel stays.
