Animals lovers will have the chance to teach rescue dogs new tricks at this year's Royal Windsor Horse Show.
Battersea Dogs & Cats Home will showcase some of its canine residents at the event, which runs from May 14 to 18.
Staff from the charity's Old Windsor centre in Berkshire will run a stand near the Copper Horse ring, where visitors will be able to watch demonstrations and attempt to teach the dogs tricks.
One of the dogs taking part in the event will be six-year-old lurcher Strike, who has spent more than six months at the centre after being found as a stray on an industrial estate in Egham.

I hope that this will enable Strike and others to find their forever homes.
