Search for dog who ran away after being hit by a car

A one-year-old Norwegian Buhund was hit by a car while being walked on Friday evening and after running away, has still not been found. Alfie was hit after running across the road in Ringland Lane, Costessey, Norfolk. His owner said the driver stopped but left when Alfie ran away towards Old Costessey.

Alfie was wearing a black collar and is microchipped. People in the area are being asked to keep an eye out for Alfie - anyone spotting him should contact his owner, Mrs Smith, on 07845 652398 or Taverham Vets in Fir Covert Road on 01603 867330.
