Military dogs return home from Afghanistan

Operation Herrick 19 comes to an end in Afghanistan, it’s not just soldiers that are heading home for a well deserved rest.

The Military Working Dogs are also undergoing a changeover, some of them flying out of Camp Bastion having served up to five years on the frontline.

I hope they enjoy their rest and, for some, their retirement.

It's nice to see that there is a waiting list for their adoption by their military friends.
