The call of nature at Crufts

A cross-breed made the headlines for the wrong reasons this weekend – in the middle of her agility course at Crufts, five-year-old Libby found herself 'caught short' and squatted as her owner held her head in her hands. Libby had made a good start but had to be disqualified. The commentator said: “A dog's got to do what a dog's got to do. What a shame. Disqualified - and it was a good run too.”

Libby can be seen here (warning – graphic content ):

Oh bless....... when you've gotta go.....

I'm so pleased the dog wasn't berated for it....

Great owner and well done Crufts officials who made light of the matter. Shame about the disqualification though.....

It had to be a crossbreed, didn't it? You're letting the side down, Libby! Made me laugh when she was kicking her heels afterwards!

Maybe the owner should have made sure she took the dog for a toilet break before she entered the ring

To be fair to her, I've found that when working, my dogs will, what we call "kennel point" after we have started. It seems that after the excitement/exercise, they just have to go again as they are always walked before working so have a chance to relieve themselves.
