Zinzan - police dog makes full recovery

A police dog whose head was slammed repeatedly in a door has returned to work after making a full recovery.

Zinzan was injured when officers tried to gain entry to a house in Edgware. Lukasz Sklepkowski, 28, who was arrested for injuring the dog, has pleaded not guilty to causing unnecessary suffering to an animal under the Animal Welfare Act 2006. He has been bailed to appear at Hendon Magistrates Court on December 5.
