I had never thought of cats and dogs having TB never mind passing it to humans.
In the '60s I worked in a TB hospital. The coldest place I have ever worked. I was there for one winter and every afternoon come rain snow or shine all the sliding doors were opened and the patients in their beds were pushed outside for fresh air. No thank you!!!!!

That is why I added the link to The Telegraph.

Yes and the Telegraph doesn't state it as an alarmist fact at all. Says 'cannot be ruled out'.
