It's not just the cost of feeding them. It's the staff wages etc.

But my thoughts are I hope this dog finds ANOTHER HOME. Present owners obviously do not cherish her - I pay more than they are being asked for my dog to go into Boarding for 2wks. And I'd pay twice as much to know she will be happy, safe and well when I return.

It's a sad story but a very odd one. Can't help but think who do they charge for dogs where they cannot trace an owner - proper street or stray dogs? They still presumably round 'em up and feed 'em for a proscribed length of time?

My mood tonight is that I'd like to horribly murder everyone who ill treats or doesn't take good care of their dogs or other pets. So probably am not being very objective.
