Looking to me like it was Bronze, which is pretty basic stuff really. By the time they get to Gold there's been a lot of work done, mainly off lead, and whilst no dog would ever be totally infallible, they're pretty good. Lots of off lead stays, out of sight stays, surrounded by other dogs, emergency stops and the likes, if your dog isn't focused on you by then, you're not going to get a Gold, believe me its not easy, lots of practice, and lots of failures and even on the day it can go wrong, and you're back to square one.

The original purpose of the Akita was to hunt game....the history of the breed confirms this...

Your really suggesting that the KC and crufts (a dog show) can influence the judicial system ....OK, best leave it there then. LOL!!!!
