Actually when I first read the story I thought it was a misprint as "Fluffy" is the sort of name more usually given to a kitten than a Staffie.

While I do agree Azz sometimes even knowledgeable owners can get into difficulties. I remember a couple years ago with a fantastic white bear like dog (breed eludes me at the moment) they were great owners so into the breed and dogs generally but nothing prepared them for the dog "turning" on them one sunday morning, it was only after a post mortem they discovered poor creature had a brain tumour. I would wait to see what the outcome was before judging too harshly.

and yes julie; clearly something has happened to turn the dog aggressive. happens with people too
