My dad has a big birthday this year and I just bought a guitar from someone on ebay - it's the same type he had as a young man when he used to play in a band. I hope he likes it. I just paid and hoping to pick it up tomorrow.

I know Lynne - I honestly don't know where the last few years have gone. I've barely blinked and he's off to school this year.

LS I can sympathise, mine just turned 13 on Wednesday. Doesn't seem that long ago I was chasing him round the house to try to change his nappy!

Oldest has a job interview tomorrow,for a 6 month placement before she goes back to uni. Really hopeing she gets it..keeping my fingers crossed,needs the experience and the pay packet!!

LS I remember those days. Now I have a teenager who doesn't get up until he has to, and tonight we had the grumps from him cause I made him get ready for bed at 10pm.
