What should we send?

Please put your ideas down on what we can send - flowers? A wreath? A "Dogsey" floral tribute in 'words'?

Here are a few sites which I think deliver to the area:

http://www.readyflowers.com.au/Store...5/Default.aspx

http://www.easyflowers.com.au/asp/select.asp?pg=51

http://www.devilishflorist.com/shop/...ucts.asp?id=68

Any other ideas welcome, but we need to get this sent of soon I'd imagine.

Hi Azz

What a lovely thought and gesture.

Just a thought, depending on what you choose, if it's a bouquet, some of them come with a pre-made vase / box, that are a bit more practical.

Thank you for organising this Azz.

Bless you Azz - I know this is hard for you.

I like the idea of the Dogsey tribute in words. Or maybe 'Shadowboxer' or 'SB' or something like that, quite personal from us.

Well I like these. This is the smallest bouquet, they go up in 10 dollar increments and have a beautiful fragrance, and so we could send a really big bouquet if we wished. I think the white signifies SB's pureness of heart and the fragrance represents they way she spread love and concern to all around her.

I personally prefer bouquets that celebrate life and living and in my gut I would sense that would be Lesley's way too. Wreaths are beautiful but very sad, and short lived. I know all ours for my mum & dad were given to a local nursing home for the residents to enjoy. I think a fragrant bouquet is more likely to be placed in Lesley and John's home. I suspect the consensus may opt for a large boxer dog shaped wreath, which is fine as they would think it fitting for SB. I just have a gut feeling she would prefer a beautiful bouquet in her home for John to enjoy, rather than a wreath left on the grave or in a home nursing home, or in a crematorium as her garden was her joy (and her pain too at times)! It will be fine whatever, I promise as it is the thought that's important.

Don't know how difficult it would be but maybe something nice for her garden so it is a lasting memorial from all at dogsey and that her Family can enjoy and realise how many peoples hearts she touched. And because she loved her garden so much.
I realise it might be too difficult though and I am sure whatever you do will be appreciated by the Family and from us here.

I like the idea of something personal from Dogsey!
I also like the idea of something lasting for her garden, that is a lovely idea!
I think it will help her husband John whenever he sees it and knows just how much she was respected and loved!

how about planting a tree for her - so you could get a tree ( native to Oz) and buy it online and get it delivered ?? You can usually do that through florist sites

otherwise - you could do Roses - she spent enough time battling with them !
