Lovley looking flowers!

If your pots are genuine terracotta and not plastic (cant tell from piccys)-paint the insides with gloss paint.Terracotta is pourous and once the sun beats down on them-it draws the moisture from compost through the pot.Painting simply seals the surface and cant be seen then so any old colour will do.

Thanks Steve for the advice (some are , some aren't,although i have a few,not all pictured though that are in Stone pots and they seem to thrive, think they are better protected from the frost and heat??)
thanks everyone for your comments,I couldn't fit them all in on the phone, its been a bit cooler the last few days so some have perked up pretty quickly, some have even flowered that weren't doing so before !!! Strange
