I've said this before on an old thread but;when I was growing up at home,we always had dogs. None of them lay across sofas or were kept in the house. Was the same with every family in the street, dogs were kept outside. Some I remember sleeping on the doorstep at night( not ours) Don't think they ever saw upstairs They had clean warm kennels and if the winter was exceptionally cold they got upgraded to the back hall
Always remember how old most of them were when they passed, ancient most of them Hearty dogs
Mine sleeps inside, has all her home comforts, pampered beyond believe I doubt she needs half her blankets, toys or coats She's small, but I reckon if I ever did go for a large breed I would have no issue with keeping it outside.Like TW a palace would have to be built of course

I read that article and thought that if ever there was a reason why not to buy from a BYB then those photographs illustrated it perfectly.

I do so hope that those poor dogs are now somewhere safe and not in such squalid conditions.

Agree with most of what has been written and the fact she had to change out of her dress before dealing with her distressed dogs says an awful lot to me.

Poor dogs. I hope these dogs all have the happy ending they deserve. And the owners are put off Breeding again.

I thought that. A friend of mine has a greyhound kennels and it is spotless, the dogs really well looked after, and at the end of their racing days, if at all possible, they are rehomed in pet homes.
