Today is the day poor Lennox is going to be murdered,another innocent victim of BSL

Praying for a miracle for him x

Thinking of the Barnes family at such a difficult time xx

So many people are trying to make this recalcitrant Council do the right thing.
What is wrong with these people. And what of the Dog Warden who testified that she was afraid of the dog - and was then secretly filmed playing with him?
Let`s hope for some Karma.

A very sad day for all involved, Fingers crossed for some common sense to kick in before it's too late, but when did common sense ever go hand in hand with the law

It will be a vey sad day if this is allowed to go ahead.

He looks exactly like my late girl Anoushka (minus a bit of white) a kc reg pedigree Staffy, how on earth is this happening I thought he must really look very pitbull for this to happen (although very wrong anyway) but no he looks full Staffy to me, poor boy, god it could happen to any one of us, I dread to think about it

I've not seen that photo of him before, not sure it is him to be honest ...

I am not sure if anything can be done now, but if it can, then that's wonderful. Victoria Stilwell is talking to BCC I believe, as she hopes that Lennox can be rehomed with her or by her, and Sarah Fisher and husband Anthony Head are over in support of the Barnes family, whatever the outcome.

Apparently Peter Robinson, DUP leader, has tweeted that he has spoken to the Lord Mayor about Lennox. He suggests that BCC should seriously look at rehoming the dog "Why exercise the Order, if there is an alternative?" he says.

I don't know how much clout he's got or anything...

I am still hoping for a miracle, but not sure the Council will admit their catastrophic mistake now - they don't want to lose face Never mind that the poor dog loses his life totally unnecessarily!

What a sad day Whilst I admire and hope for the last ditch efforts to save him I expect bloody mindedness and the council not wanting to appear weak in the face of opposition will seal his fate. We can still hope for him though...
