Good morning, Dogsey folk - Bank Holiday Monday!

Morning all,

Today we are on a hunt for a unit for the lounge. We’ve seen several – some at the dreaded IKEA – and even a couple of really nice ones at Asda.

We also need to visit Tesco and PAH as I’m out of Coke and Burns.....

Weathermen forecast rain, but currently, it’s a beautiful day, and I’ve just had a nice long walk with Lennon – fab!

Have a great day, everyone, and stay safe.

Today’s gem:
Men socialise by insulting each other, and they don’t really mean it. Women socialise by complimenting each other, and they don’t really mean it either.

Morning Vicki and all,
Good luck with your hunt for a unit Vicki, I hope you find a nice one you really like. Trouble is they all come flat packed these days so you then have the problem of trying to assemble them, something way beyond me .
I am going to my mums this afternoon to meet up with my sister and her husband for a little celebration tea as its their silver wedding anniversay later this week.
Lily has just refused her breakfast so I am praying she is not heading downhill again.
Sun is shining for now so I have washed my bed sheets and hope they will dry before any rain comes along.
Have a good day everyone and enjoy the bank holiday as isn't this the last one now till Christmas.

Morning Vicki, morning all.

Good luck with the unit shopping Vicki.

We went out early with Dillon as it was quite warm around 7.30. At the moment it looks as if it might be a nice day. Plenty of time for that to change though.

Some gardening and possibly shopping for Gordens things he needs to take away today and catch up tv from last night.

Haha at the gem today so very true. Have a good day all.

Good morning everyone. No Bank Holiday here in Scotland so it is a usual Monday morning for us. I felt a bit queasy and headachey this morning, so hubby has taken Ben into nursery for me. I am about to have one more coffee and then take the dogs out again - I had them out first thing before the rain arrived. After a beautiful day yesterday it is miserable and raining today

Have a nice day.

Morning all.

Well no bank holiday here today either and it is absolutely bucketing down.

It feels like a winters day out there.

Have a lovely bank holiday those who have one, I'm not a bit jealous!!!!

Nic xx

Morning Vicki, morning all. No Bank Holiday here either but YIPPEE the kids went back to school today! Usually school starts on 1 September but with that being on a Shabbat they have gone back nearly a week early. As the school year ends at the end of June, that is one v-e-r-y long break although there are lots of activities arranged for the children, especially on this Moshav.

Pereg is outside staring intently at a bright green lizard which is just out of her reach and is staring back at her. I wish I had my camera handy but it is in my bedroom.

Chucking it down here, on the plus side, it does give me a good excuse to use Daisy's new fluorescent Equafleece coat I bought at Blair Horse Trials.
I think it's also a day for making cheese scones.

Good afternoon all. We went out early this morning to avoid the bank holiday madness in town and it's been quite a pleasant morning, if a little breezy. Warm enough though, but we did need cardigans on today.

Got back about half an hour ago just as a shower hit - how's that for good timing? The sun has decided it's had enough for now though and the skies have darkened over. No matter, I have a date with the last Harry Potter film this afternoon

Enjoy what's left of the holiday and good hunting Vicki

Good morning. I`m not a great fan of Bank Holidays.....
they always seem to co-incide with a vet or medical emergency. This time it`s a son with shingles.

Afternoon all. Hope you find what you like in Ikea for the lounge Vicki. I hope Kyiro is going to be ok Bev, always such a worry for you, same as I have here with Zena, so good luck. Sorry to hear about your son Claire, hope he's going to be ok.

Glorious sunny day darn sarf, although threat of rain later, but now they seem to have changed their minds for the south east so fingers crossed then.

Long walk first thing, then off to B&Q to take back some doors we don't need and order ones we do need, but that's the end of it now. Another tip run, they're getting so used to me up there, they'll be calling me by my name soon I'm sure. Came home and cooked a lovely meat pie, chucked it in the oven and took Zena out again into the woods for a short run in the duck pond field, but just as I got in there, this bladdy staffie comes hurfing down from the top end, owner nowhere in sight, so I legged it calling Zena with me and thankfully she obliged, and I was outer there like I shot mumbling obscenities at the owner Yes, it could have been ok, but when I remember what happened this time 2 weeks ago I didn't want to take a chance thanks, so we came home

Off to eat that pie now and have a well earned nanny nap.

Enjoy the rest of the hols One more week and they're back at school until Christmas, yayyyyyy!
