Would you be good enough for masterchef?

Given there are quite a few people who really enjoy cooking on here and I am under house arrest still and watching old tv on sky, and enjoy masterchef... I wondered has anyone ever considered or know anyone who has considered entering for Masterchef????

I've considered it (quite a lot), but think I'm a bit too rustic!

Also, I'm not convinced by the whole time-limit thing, plus the invention-test....

Definitely not. My youngest sons ex girlfriend was on this year she got through too the quarter finals and she said how stressed it made her.

She did say she was glad she tried it though.

NO, as much as I love cooking, alot of mine is chucked together and very rustic.

I dont really do presentation either -if it tastes good then thats what I worry about.

I think I am a competent cook - but it also depends on what I am making !!!

what about you K?

No, but Sid could I reckon.

He is a totally, naturally talented cook, he doesn't follow recipies, just makes his own stuff up and it is always gorgeous.

I wish I could cook like him, but at least I get to enjoy it (when he's home )

We both love watching Masterchef and I've often said he should enter.

Yes

I love cooking, designing, creative and bog standard.

I love cooking foreign meals from scratch....curries, Jamacian, Mexican, Italian, french....not out of a tin either
And best I love trying my own ideas on things, by using stuff at hand/cupboards, meat dishes with herbs and honey baised etc.,

Nothing more nicier than getting creative in the kitchen and savouring the end results.

I love having people over to eat....can try them out with them
