Thank you all again.

We picked up Busters ashes and I was more upset than I thought I would be,but it was lovely as well because I felt like he was "coming home" .
The ashes are in a lovely"scatter box" with a beautiful woodland scene picture on it.
I take them up every night - and its sort of like he is going to bed as he did every night.

We gave Michelle a card and a photo of Buster and we took a cake up for the staff-to celebrate Busters life.

Hope he and Buster are having fun at Rainbow Bridge ,free from the confusion that the dementia brought them.

My heart goes out to any of you who have a dog with dementia and to those of you who are facing making the decision to let them go

Though I have no doubt at all that I made the right decision I still miss him so much -he was the most loving dog and was never happier than when he was lying against my legs or on the couch cuddled up to me.
Sadly that all stopped when he developed dementia.

Having the support of all of you has helped so much-thank you all.
