There didn't have Deb's in Borstal

We used to be told that 'only fisherwomen fold their arms' and that it was most uncouth to roll sleeves up. And all sorts of other rubbish like that! I always remember us not being allowed to use the word 'GOT' because 'it is a very ugly word and there is always a nicer alternative word you can use instead'.
