Shadowbxer always referred to her beloved dog Jackson as ''The Prince of Darkness'' but she was immensely proud of him...

SB being the kind of modest person she was refused to post this on the site but I would like you to see it, she really was an excellent and successful trainer both with her own dogs and those she taught at training school ..

Good morning

Funny weather here, can't make up its mind whether to rain or shine.

We went to look at ride-on mowers this morning. Mr SB has decided that he would like a four-wheel drive model - $16,000 Even with a trade-in still not cheap! My argument that it would be less expensive to pay for medical treatment if/when the old one careers down the hill and he gets broken did not go down too well!

Hope your day is a good one.

***Today's dietary advice***

1) Never eat more than you can lift.

2) Only Irish coffee provides in a single glass all four essential food groups: alcohol, caffeine, sugar, and fat.

Sums her up brilliantly taking life with a pinch of salt.
This one made me laugh out loud also What a wonderful wit.

"Got meat for the dogs today. As I was taking out of the car one of the bags split. H & J had their prayers answered - it rained lamb Oh well, less for me to chop and pack I suppose."

I loved this

Mini and I had the privilege of sharing a private 'Writers Corner' section with SB, and I was just looking through it and found a thread she started called

For those of you who didn't know her, she frequently made us laugh like his, which always helped us through the day, especially when something was going on. She also shared her personal achievments with us in the Writers Corner and the Mod Sections as she was too modest to post them on the public board.

Here's another:

A whole year ago - last September - I posted with a question about my dog's behaviour (only a year old), wondering if it was a dominance thing. This is the reply from SB that put it all into perspective, one that I still quote and one that makes me smile to think of it - and now cry a little.

SB:

A typical pushy young dog, feeling his oats and thinking the world belongs to him
