Here is the climatis. It's only been in that pot for a year so will be to the top of the wigwam next year, but it gives you the general idea. It wouldn't overwhelm the end of your garden. It's really finished flowering but at it's peak it was a mass of white flowers.

That's really pretty and I like it because it's quite subtle. In fact the leaves look like lettuce so it would go great near the herb garden!

The only trouble is, I think I should have something that is late to flower as the Jasmine and Honeysuckle are both spring?

There are plenty of non-rampant (ie not Montana), late flowering climatis varieties. Go to a decent garden centre and read the plant labels to find what you want.

Do you find the pebbles attract lots of ..spiders? (they did in my last garden!)

Hell yeah! I'm not sure for a fact it's the pebbles because we've always only ever had pebbles or gravel, but there are LOTS of the ******s in my garden!
