Scottish Staffie Rescue

It is with an extremely heavy heart that I feel I have to write this. As from 21st November I will no longer be involved with Scottish Staffordshire Bull Terrier Rescue. For the past year there has been a lot of unrest in the rescue and I have been made to feel that I am to blame so for that reason I feel that if you remove the problem, i.e.: me, then the rescue will get back on its feet. I feel that everything that I did was questioned and scrutinized and made to feel I wasn’t doing my job properly. I have given the past 14yrs to the rescue and have been fortunate to meet a lot of friends through this and had the privilege to meet some stunning dogs.

I would like to wish them all the best for the future.

Oh Tracie - no! Surely this isn't right? Is there no other way?

Oh no I think of Staffy Rescue and think of you Tracie, all those years of dedication and hard work you've put in, is there no other way around the problems?

Hi Tracie whatever you decide to do (and I think you should reconsider for the sake of the dogs) nothing can take away from the enormous contribution you have made to SSBTR and the help you have given to the many unwanted dogs who were lucky enough to pass through your hands xx

thanks everybody but I've tried for the last 7mnths to ignore what has been going on and being brought down for speaking my mind so I feel I have no option but to walk away. It hurts like hell and I can't stop crying and being sick. But I really do wish them all the best for the future.

I Wish you all the best for the future.
Sounds a real shame for a charity to be losing some one who has put in as much time and hard work as you!
I agree there lose....such a shame.
All the best!
