Talk about going grey overnight!

Took the dogs for a wash and brush up to my friend who is a groomer, I walked into her house dressed in black and came out with a grey fur coat!....

Did I mention she has 4 gorgeous Elkhounds (and an even cuter Finnish Spitz ) so by the time I've had all the Elkhound cuddles I love my clothes have completely changed colour!

How do you hairy dog lovers cope? Have to say I love my little black, hardly-shedding doglets that match my wardrobe!

Lol what can i say....the extra fur keeps us owners warm!! Seriously though for us who have shedding dogs (and believe me spitz type dogs shed loads ) its just something that we accept as we knew what we were getting into, besides when mine blow their coats they an half look funny bless em, kinda like the way a teddy bear looks that's come unstitched at the seams!! hahaha

I find those rollers with peel off sticky paper invaluable, wont/can't leave home without one

Tip: Save all your dog hair and make cushions that you can sell on eBay

Hi J we don't know how lucky we are having a breed which doesn't shed

When I have my son's Springer Zak for the day there is dog hair everywhere (partly due to puppy fighting and Chloe swinging on Zacs ears ) not sure I could cope with a shedding breed

I'm with you there Mini! My OH sheds more than the dogs! He has long curly hair, very pretty.

But I will definitely have a Finnish Spitz one day! When I win the lottery and can afford a detached house so the barking doesn't bug the nighbours and a cleaner everyday to hoover up the hair!

I do have to say that being covered in hair is a small price to pay for all these lovely Spitzy and Elkhoundy cuddles, they are such lovely dogs.

I think tiny white hairs on an outfit is rather fetching

but I do have a sellotape roller for when I am off to posh functions

and like QW I don't wear black
