poo differences

After trying our pup on a few bits of raw we made the switch last week, he was on it for 6 days and then this weekend we fed kibble. The difference in the amount of poo is huge! The kibble poos are squishier, bigger, more frequent and stinkier.
I guess it's raw full time from now on.

to me that is the biggest benefit, I pick up marbles instead of horrible cow pats.
I know my dogs are healthier etc. but it is sooo much easier when you are out with them and they download

It's crazy the difference isn't it?!
It just shows how much of the kibble is literally passing through in one end and out the other. Such a waste!

Raw fed dogs are getting the maximum benifits and nutrients from what they are fed, with minimum waste coming out the other end.

And a wonderful benifit for us as owners having only a few small well formed poops to lift, as opposed to those stinky mushy lumps they produce when fed on commercial food.

I've noticed since changing that all my three don't "go" anywhere near as much as they used to, and it's "perfect poo".

Sadly, Mya still gets squitty with chicken wings......

My foster dog is on Arden Grange and poops up to 5 times a day (big ones as well, although they're pretty firm).

My dog is on raw and poops once a day!

my 2 'go' twice a day usually, and they are like marbles!!! If I feed too much ox heart or something they can go a bit mushy, but I just give them a turkey leg or similar for their next meal and it sorts itself out

As the saying goes, if crap goes in, then crap must come back out.

Woman in the park had changed her dog onto Aldies food
mountains of poo
'oh it must be really good for her - look how its cleaning her out!!'
Deff agree the tiny marbles are much better
And while we are on the subject of grossness vom is much less gross too
lakes of sick on kibble - hardly anything (and he pukes less often too - just at the start the odd bone that needed reworking)

A friend of mine a while back reached down to pick up after his dog
'look at that thats a really great one'
.........
'who would have thought before getting dogs we would talk about poo and the merits of a nice firm one'

I've had two babies, and before that worked with horses....
So I'm well used to talking cr@p.

As for the vomit issue; raw fed dog's vomit ain't so nice if they've just had fish for tea....

In the case of vomit, some dogs will regurgitate food and then eat it again, so leave it there for a couple of minutes before cleaning it up. It is a natural instinct.
