Say Hello to Miel the new member of the Trouble gang

This is Miel pronounce Me-el but that may need to change because it sounds like Meow when I say it, must be my accent
Miel is 8 months old and came home with us yesterday, she hasn't had the best of starts. She was bought as a pup with her litter brother, and on the advice of a trainer was rehomed at around 14 weeks to a new home in kent. About a month ago she was taken to Battersea dogs home as she'd been picked up wandering the streets in North London. Battersea contacted her original owner who she was still chipped to, and they collected her but she was in a very sorry state, very underweight with a very large lump on her back where she had been shot with an air gun and the pellet had caused an infection and mass the size of a tennis ball. This has now been removed and she has regained her weight and condition, although she is still very slender. She is such a sweet and gentle girl although obviously not that confident. The people in Kent didn't want her back and didn't say how or why they no longer had her, we can only guess what happened to her in the missing 3 months. We hadn't planned on getting another dog but hey what's one more and her story really tugged at my heart strings so here she is

With the rest of the Rabble

According to her mum her little princess doesn't like to get her toes wet I've just e-mailed her this pic.

You can see the shaved patch on her back where the lump was.

Well done you for giving this lovely girl a new start.

How can people be so cruel?

She looks as if she is settling in well, lucky girl

She looks like she's settled right in and already looks happy and confident around your gang.

Well done, I'm sure she will won't regret taking her on

(that's a huge patch on her back, poor wee sole, but at least it seems to have healed well).
