Elsa's Trip to the Beach (SBT) Long Post!

Well as you know from my prevous thread we took Elsa the rescue dog to the beach on Saturday. We decided not to take Toby after all, as we thought it pointless putting them both through the stress of meeting ect when they more than likely would never meet again, so Toby stayed with my dad. Plus of course i thought Elsa may enjoy it more. We nearly buckled and brought her home for the night, but that would of been more for our sake and confused her even more, she probably would of thought it was her new home and we felt it would be cruel when we took her back the next day.

Anyway we took her on the beach, there were quite a lot of people around so we kep her lead on. She was so good, various dogs came up to her and she didn't blink an eye. She was so friendly to all the people too, someone is going to get themselves on hell of a lovely dog, I hope they appreciate her!

Here she is on the beach

In the sea

With Toby's tennis ball which is alas no longer with us

then we walked back up above the beach stopped at a bench for a sit down
Cuddles

Amber eyes

Ah ah, i'm getting the hang of looking at the camera for piccies

Then we let her off on the grass for a run around as there was nobody about

This is my favourite pic, she looks so happy

Time for a break

and of course more cuddles

Then sadly it was time to go, this is the last pic we took, she reminds me of Piglet on this, bless her

Thanks for looking and of course for sticking with her saga for those who have read the other threads. I hope she gets the home she deserves.

oh you are such a wonderful person to give her such a nice time - this made me smile at what a lovely time you must have had

bet it was sad to say goodbye

the pictures are lovely and she looks like she thoroughly enjoyed her outing with you - am sure someone is going to get themselves the most fantastic dog by the looks and what you have said - i hope it isn't too long either for her.

she looks like she had such a lovely time and as much as i think she would make the perfect pal for toby its a very good decision to make if its not right for you, as the last thing is for her not to get a forever home that she thoroughly deserves.

Good luck elsa hope you get a staffie snuggle on a sofa very soon.....xxxxxx

if bruno was a bit nicer i would have her in a heartbeat as she is beautiful xxx
