Max has turned into a cow.

Well I took all the loonies over to a field this morning that we don't normally go to as a change for them to explore, and after about half and hour of them running about like complete nutters Max decided that he would turn into a cow and started to graze on the grass.

I must admit that I have never seen him exhibit this sort of behaviour before and none of the others have ever eaten grass to my knowledge.

So my question to you lot is, is this common or should I be looking out for something underlining in relation to this sort of behaviour?

Got it. He didn't have a lighter so he couldn't smoke it.

But it won't do him any harm if he eats it?

Thinking about it, it was about 8-inches long and nice and green and there was loads of dew about.

We he be able to pass it with no ill effects? Looks like I'm going to be on poo watch this afternoon. Nice!

In my experience, dogs eat grass to help their digestion. Mine are fussy about seeking out a particular sort of grass - any old grass just won`t do. Sometimes it can indicate a tummy upset.

Jaz adores eating long grass. Strange dog. I like to joke that she's part shetland, since she's a big girl and likes to eat grass...

Well I have just watched Max have a poo (not nice) and you would of thought he was crapping out a bale of hay.

At least he has got it all out of his system. Thank god!
