Update on Nala

Thank you to everyone for your kind messages of support for Nala during her recent illness.

She is now back to normal (well as normal as is possible for her ). We still do not know what was wrong with her, blood tests ruled out renal failure, liver failure, diabetes, cushings, water diabetes and infection so she was put on a course of ABs and Zantac in case of stomach ulcers.

She suffered a bit with her arthritis due to having to stop her Metacam (in case of ulcers) but she is now back on it and is enjoying the feeling of being relatively pain free. She even found the energy to flirt with a young GSD on our walk today

Thanks for your comments everyone.

She's really perky this morning, badgering her Dad for toast and wooing at the cars outside (we have got roadworks outside and I think that she thinks they are visitors everytime a car stops at the traffic lights and she gets really excited ) so she definitely seems to be on the mend.

Whew, panic over
