Red Dwarf - Forgot how good it was

Just watched Red Dwarf and forgot just how good how it was.

I know it was very low budget but some of the concepts and ideas are as good as those that have been turned into zillion dollar movies.

Yeah, I was obsessed with Red Dwarf when I was a kid!

Saw an episode on the Dave channel a few weeks ago and like you forgot how good it was! I think my favourite series has to Series 5. Although 3 comes a pretty close 2nd.

I really must buy them on DVD!

ETA: Just remembered Mr. Flibble!!! :smt043

Funny you should say that. Ann my friend (who died on the 8th) has a box set of Red Dwarf DVDs.

I've a few months to do 'whatever' with her stuff before what's left is just 'cleared'

Think I'll pop back for them !

Did you watch the Red Dwarf bio the other night on BBC2 where the stars and writers talked about the show and straight after was very first episode where the captain found out about Frankenstein Listers cat.

Will go against the grain here and say, it was ok, not as brilliant as people have you think, kind of like the office in respect that it is good but the way people and the media go on you would think its the best thing since sliced bread.

I used to love Red Dwarf when I was younger

Haven't seen any episodes for a long time though.
