I use frontline on mine, and Milbemax for the worms. I wouldn't reccomend getting anything for fleas or worms from a pet shop,I always get these treatments from the vets.

I always have Milbemax as that's what my vets give me,it isn't very much, and I used to pick them up when the puppies had their vet checks, injections etc, the vet would weigh them ,and then you have the right dosage. Talk to your vet when you go for the injections if you are not sure.

I have been using advocate recently-does the lot but is prescription only.

I started using it after Moll had ear mites, you put it on the same way as frontline and I find it really convenient if a bit pricy!

Frontline is good, but be careful as age and weight can play a part. Eg:

Taken from Frontline's Website;

Do not use on kittens weighing less than 1kg or puppies weighing less than 2kg

Do not use on puppies or kittens less than 8 weeks of age

So personally with flea treatment on a pup I would go to the vet to start with, just incase.

For wormer I would go for Drontal as it's quite safe for puppies. Milbemax has been known to have an adverse reaction with some breeds, mainly Collie breeds, but it's enough for me to steer clear. Drontal has always worked brilliantly for me!

good luck for tomorrow.....don't forget pics please.

Frontline is fine best to just ask the vet when you take him.

dont use ones in shops etc they are rubbish and don't work.
