Really good film on tonight

Chanel 4 at 9pm, it's called Downfall , about the last days in Hitlers Bunker, the actors/actresses are all German, It's not for the feint hearted, some of the scenes are dreadful, especially the Goebels killing their six children, but it lets you see why it was so nescessary to bring that regime down.

Sounds like the sort of film I'd enjoy.... well you know what I mean. I can't get Ch4, but it'll probably be on S4C in a few days time.

Well folks, I watched it again, I don't really like watching films with subtitles but this one really got to me.

Bruno Ganz played Hitler, one of the best performances of that carachter I've ever seen.
The story was based on Trudle Junge's personal account as she was hitlers personal secretary and she was there until he commited suicide.

The most harrowing scene was when goebbels wife killed their 6 little children in the bunker.
How could a mother do that ? In her words she did'nt want her children growing up in a world without National Socialism.

Yes I watched it too, sub titles and all. I probably wont sleep tonight either with it all going around in my head. Some really horrific and disturbing images too.
