Has anyone else seen a lot of pheasants?

On our walk today the dogs must have flushed about 8 - 10 out of the bushes.

Has anyone else noticed an increase?

It's shooting season. I see a lot this time of year but I am in the Norfolk countryside. I've seen a lot of partridge as well. Tess flushed out a couple yesterday. Give me a right fright especially as they don't move till you are right on top of them.

Strangely enough not a single one in Ealing!

But the squirrels are driving us nuts....ha ha... do you like the pun. They keep jumping out at us and it's soooooo hard for poor Pepper to resist.

The squirrels near us are really savvy and throw acorns and twigs at the dogs and then chatter at them as though they are laughing
