Healing thoughts desperately needed

I went out this morning to check our rabbits, and I saw smudge just laying on her side on the concrete, not moving.
I thought she was dead, so I went to move her, but her nose was still twitching.

I brought her inside, snuggled up against me and phoned Mum, crying, saying she was dying.
Mum said phone the vet, and I'll come round.

I phoned the vet (still crying), and explained I thought maybe Smudge had perhaps had a stroke.
I got an appointment for 15 mins time.

Smudge by this time was wrapped in a towel, snuggled up against me, and we were stood above the radiator - she was freezing.

Mum arrived and we went to the vets - Smudge still cold, but her nose twitching and her head moving a little.

Vets took her temp - but it was so low that it didn't register on the thermometer.

The vet said sometimes rabbits just collapse for no reason at all, and get very cold.
They have kept her in, and taken her to an incubator, but they said there is a very slim chance she'll pull through

Please think of her and wish her well, I love her

Isochicks Rabbit is also ill today, so send healing thoughts for her old man too

Hope Smudge pulls through Hev!

Starsky is now in his new home in our garage, where it is about 10 degrees warmer than outside, so my OH tells me.

He said that Starsky was still quite perky and has been throwing his ball around a lot!

He's coming in for a groom tonight, as he has gone all straggly again

I spoke to a nurse about an hour ago, and she said Smudges temp has risen slightly, and they were going to give her some fluids.

I have to phone again after 6pm, when the vet has been to do her ward rounds.

Fingers crossed.
We have been so worried today
