Are "human" yoghurts safe to give?

Deccy is a very picky eater at the best of times but recently he took great interest in a yoghurt, Activia muesli to be precise. I gave him a bit then wondered if these modern type yoghurts are safe to give to dogs? With concerns about raisins, grapes, corn cobs and of course chocolate, I'd like some opinions before I let him have any more, just in case.

All yoghurts are fine for dogs, it will be just the artificial colourants in some that may not be so good. but if you want, and he likes yoghurt, give him "natural bio yoghurt" this is reallt good for his digestive system, (all good bacteria) mine have bio yoghurt every day (one spoon ful) with their tea.

I give my dogs natural live organic yoghurt when they are puppies & also if they have had antibiotics or an upset tum to replace the natural flora in the intestines

Never did mine any harm

Wouldn't give them anything with raisins etc in it

I would beware of anything with raisins, grapes, artificial colours, flavours or sugars but I give my dog yoghurt. Only a small amount here though .

My lot get live natural yoghurt a couple of times a week, just a tablespoon or so each, they love it and it helps with their digestion IMO.
I too would avoid any that have raisens etc in them.

Mine get the occasional bit of organic natural bio yoghurt as well. They love it.

Thanks everyone. Looks like it will need to be the "pure" stuff or nothing......

Lennon just loves yoghurt - the fruity kind. I have the Shape ones that have less than 1% fat, and sweeteners. He used to just lick the pot, but last night I left some and shared it out between the three of them - it was only about a teaspoon each - and they adored it.....
