Class Two - Gundogs AV - the Winners !

Here we are folks, the time has come for our Judge Borderdawn to present the winners for this class, Gundogs AV in Show presentation poses

The final six were chosen from the top three choices in the Large group and the top three from the Medium group.

You can see all the entrants here :

Large Gundogs AV

Medium Gundogs AV

I`m sure you will all agree with such beautiful dogs in the class, one and all, it can`t have been easy to choose between them, so many thanks to Borderdawn for taking it on

Thanks also to our Collator for this class, Mahooli, who did a great job

As soon as our Judge is ready, she will step up to the centre spot to make the awards

I have enjoyed this judging, some beautiful dogs, thank you all very much for taking the time to enter. I liked all the dogs immensely, I`d of been happy to award many more placings.
Dawn.

---------------------------------------

A beautifully balanced Setter. Loved the neck and shoulders on this one, lovely flat coat, appears free from wave. Nice sloping topline, not too exaggerated, a beautiful dog, typifies the breed well, very pleased to award first place.

---------------------------------------

Loved this one! Classy dog, very typical, not quite finished but very well put together, shouts "Spaniel", looks as though he could do a days work.

---------------------------------------

Liked this dog for his free standing, showing many of the breeds attributes, nice head, neck and shoulders, nothing exaggerated, not over feathered and a good turn of stifle.

---------------------------------------

Not standing the best and not a "show" type, but looks a dog that could certainly work. Like his colouring, not overdone in any way, nicely presented, would love to see this one out in the field!

---------------------------------------

Nice bitch this one, liked her depth of brisket and lovely turn of stifle, uncomplicated animal, which I am sure would equip herself well in the field going on her conformation in that photo, liked her.

---------------------------------------

Another lovely dog, very typical, showing the desired slight drop from topline to tail, looks well balanced and beautifully presented.

---------------------------------------

Congratulations to all the winners, very much deserved. Special thanks to Patch and Mahooli, expertly run show!

Well well well, my Bailey wins the class. I'm thrilled thankyou Borderdawn for your lovely comments.

I wish he was still as young as he is in the photo, it was taken when he was only 12 months old, he's 11 years old now, and still my toy boy.

I'm off to tell him the good news before he goes to bed.

Thankyou again Borderdawn for your very nice critique.
