puppy growth...

Hiya there, Flower is 4 months old now, ad alot of ppl have said to me when I have been out walking how she hasnt grown for a while!! I think she has maybe stopped for a while?? Is this common?? xx

They do slow down depending on the breed of dog, if she is crossed with something of a smaller breed she may be reaching her adult height and then they do slow down a lot.

If she is otherwise healthy I shouldn't worry too much. Especially with her being a cross as you don't know how big she will be as an adult (unless you know both the parents, and then it's only a guess. I have a springer/collie X and he is bigger than both breeds but is a 50/50 cross).

My Petal is 18 weeks old, she seems to go through stages of growth, one minute she looks very 'leggy' then her body seems longand skinny. But I weigh her regular and although I can't see any changes, she's definitely growing.
