Bertie Poodle

Bertie is a two-year-old, male Poodle, who came to The Mayhew because his owner no longer wanted him. He is a friendly dog who is good with adults and older children, and has not been tested with young children. Strangers he will bark at until he gets to know them. A sensible boy who doesn't care for toys. He loves his comfort, preferring to sleep on sofas and human beds.

This lively chap is looking for a new guardian who has owned dogs before, will ensure he gets at least one hour of off-lead exercise every day and will take him to training classes to improve his socialisation. Also someone who is willing to work on his separation anxiety as he doesn't like being left alone. He will need an owner at home for most of the day. His new guardians will be taking on a thirteen-year commitment, which must not be taken lightly.

Oh who on earth stopped him having toys! My poodles love them. Hope he finds a decent home with someone to love him forever.
