Jumper or dog?

That is the question. Because I am trying to do the graden ie move plants etc. I have put a fence across to keep the dogs off the fence is 4ft high. And Tess can clear it from a standing start no run up nothing just up and over.

So either I have a Stafford or a Jumper The jury is still out on that one.

I think I may have because Sal doesn't jump like that although she can clear a bar gate when out and the mood takes her! Tess seems to be tigger in disguise. I may change her name from Tess too Tigger.
Other than that Skippy may be an option.

My old Staff used to scale a 6ft + fence easily. Something tells me this one is going to be the same. A proper jumper.

Doesn't matter how high that fence is, if there's a bitch in season on the other side of it Harvey will just go straight through it

LOL I know the feeling Kazz, they are something else at jumping.

Cassy can and regularly jumps much higher than the height of me (5ft) often right up to Kyles head (6ft) from a standing position but one thing she never does is scale any garden fences even my mums which is 3ft high.

If we are in the woods I have a hard job stopping her from leaping up to grab branches (like below), people think we do this to toughen her up but truth be known she does it of her own accord so she must enjoy it lol.

Hi Laura.
Sal can jump too my brother who's 6ft 3 holds her ring out straight in front of him and she gets that with no trouble. But she doesn't attempt to jump anything like the fence the pup though is a different kettle of fish.
She jumped as a younger pup onto the table in the garden we didn't take much notice but thinking about it now I should have realised the jumping bug was taking hold then Ben has been out and raised the fence and it is now and inch off 5ft he turned round to put something away and she cleared the fence he turned around and she was sitting beside him looking up at him. So that seems to be a waste. Just let her into the garden she walked to the fence cleared it had a potter around then jumped over and came back in.
So she is available for the olympics if anyone is interested
