ipod shuffle to portable stereo?

Can you get a fixture of some type to link the ipod onto a portable stereo, so when going away you can play your ipod tunes on a cd/tape player?

You can get a little sender that goes in the headphone jack and transmits so that it can be tuned into any radio, sterio tuner, car ......
Not expensive either and you get the full benifit of the big stereo speakers.
