Help!! My lawn's ruined!

Now that the weather has improved my girls have spent a lot of time outdoors in the garden - which they love, but unfortunately this has resulted in my lawn being absolutely wrecked ! A friend mentioned Green-UM tablets and I wondered if anyone had used these, and if so, had they worked!

I found the only thing that worked for my lawn was to dig it up and pave it instead

I saw a product today called 'Dog Rocks', you put them in your dogs water and they are natural, don't harm the dog, and stop grass burn from urine. At least thats what the ad said, can't tell you if they work though, with 2 NI which love digging a lawn is out of the question for me lol!

I usually just take mine to the side of my prooerty where my garden hose is and water down the area after they have finished "their business" I do have a few spots but considering I have 10 dogs a few here and there isnt bad lol

I've read a few drops of Apple Cider Vinegar in their water helps to neutralize the urine and stop the lawn burning. It is also good for their digestion

It's not just the dead patches form the wee, we have a small dog and a small garden and she has just worn out patches of the grass from haring about and that's not to mention the holes!

I'm saving up for astroturf (I'm not kidding)!

i put a thread on here a while back asking if anybody had used artificial lawn as i was thinking about getting some.

well i heard recently about a dog that burnt its feet because the artificial lawn got so hot in the sun

i think im gonna give that a miss now and ill probably end up paving it

But then you'll have to hoover the lawn as well as the carpets - and you will have smelly puddles all over it
