Sea water good for operation?

Me and OH are sitting here wondering what to do on this sunny day and a thought occured about going to the beach, with the spay wound I thought the salt water might help, but OH's not so sure, any suggestions?

Can't see why not. I remember my grandad having salt water baths when he had an op.

Don't let her drink the water though!!

We were always advised by the vet for leg injuries on our horses to take them down the beach, so I don't see why not for dogs too? That's all I can tell you on this!

I always think salt water is good for wounds. When Nudge was spayed and her wound site looked inflamed, I took her into the sea every day for about a week. The only caution I would think of would be to make sure the water is nice and clean. It isn't always.

Have a great day.
