Haltis on staffies??

Having got two of the little buggers, and having recently had an op im finding them too hard to walk as they're pulling like mad even on harnesses.Has anyone used haltis on their staffies successfully.i tried it once with candy and she had a mental and her face seemed too little for it !! OH YEAH AND WHAT SIZE DID YOU FIND WORKED THE BEST? :P

I would use the dogmatic it's like the haultis but imo it's designed better made out of leather and dosn't ride up the face might cost more but it is better.

Hi Candie,

My Kip is a terrible puller and I tried a halti on her which worked fine for about 2 minutes but she ended up cutting her nose because she dragged it along the ground trying to get it off lol.

I used a size 2 but I cant remember what make they are adjustable though. There are also leather ones that can be made to order you can usually find them on the back of magazines such as Dogs Today etc.

I found that the haltis rubbed Stars nose and cause it to bleed so if I need to I use the dogmatic.
