Microchip question...

I have just been onto http://www.vetsgetscanning.co.uk/ the website run by Bruce Forsyth and his daughter Debbie and in the section "Did you know" it says ...."Some vets are implanting non ISO standard Microchips; therefore these chips will not be picked up when scanned."
This has really worried us and I wanted to know how do we check that the microchips inplanted in ours and friends dogs necks are ISO standard? Thanks for your help

Go to your vet and get them scanned! If the vets scanner picks them up then you should be OK.

ISO microchips have 15 digits in their numbers, just check your petlog/identichip certificate.
