How much are pups in your area?

Linking this from my other thread.....

How much are pedigree pups being advertised for in your area?

Let's see how much variation there is in prices and areas.....

Labs go for about £300 here, which I think is about right.
GSD's go for about £250-£300, which I would expect to be dearer.
Cavaliers go for about £350, which I would expect to pay around £500...(I paid £575 for my CKCS)
Springers are very rarely advertised but go for about £450, which I think is about right.
Staffys go for about £300-400, which I think is about right.
Yorkies go for around £500,which I think is expensive.

What are the prices in your areas?

I'm not sure of the prices of the pups just in my area but I think between £500 - £700 is reasonable for a well bred KC reg pup from health tested parents.

Hi,
Not to sure to be honest,
I very rarely check out the ads now,so many bad ads that get me mad
If i was going to buy another pup,i would go on a recommendation from one of the breed clubs.
For a well bred health tested Stafford, prices range from about £450-£750.

Labs go for about £350-£500
Yet Labradoodles a crossbreed fetch £500-£600
GSD's go for about £300-£450
Cavaliers go for about £400-£500,
Springers around £400
Staffys go for about £300-500, these are ones bred by Chavs
Yorkies go for around £500 - £650

Prices seem amazing, when you think if I decide to sell my two miniature Shetland ponys I will only get approx £150 each.

Cavaliers £300- £400
Staffs £350
Yorkies £350 Plus
The prices were copied from local paper today.

Labs are £300-£650 near me, Ones from a working background tend to be at the lower end.

I wouldn't buy an Akita pup locally. When we were looking fdor a new puppy I did phone the Nala's breeder and the prices were £1,200 for a pet and £1,400 for a show dog. I paid £500 12 years ago for Nala so this is probably what I would expect to pay now.

For a well bred Olde Tyme Bulldogge, I wouldn't pay more than £700 to £900. American Bulldogs seem to have come down in price, I paid £700 for my AB almost five years ago, I've seen them advertised for a lot less now (£500 seems the going rate) anyone that wants more than £1000 is asking too much for them. IMO

KC Bulldogs seem to be for between £1200 - £1800 around here.

Bullmastiffs £600 - £800

German Shepards are around the £400+

I've seen Stafford puppies advertised with their KC paperwork for as low as £375
