Wouldnt bank on 2 JRT's getting on, its a bt diffetent when you have different contrasting breeds of the same sex. Good luck.

like borderdawn said, i think it is strange too but jack and his brother got along very well and i dont think they knew they were brothers, because there have been 2 years between they went apart as pups an they the reunited after 2 years.
they were even sharing food
if i didnt experience this i wouldnt believe it is possible with terriers...
i hope it goes well

A neighbour of mine had two westie brothers, had them five years and all was well between them - best mates.

Then they got a bitch from rescue - thats when the trouble really started. The boys were drawing blood on one another, vet said one would have to be castrated as it was a dominance thing.

I have brought older dogs into my household and not had any problems but my breed (English Setters) are renowned for being intensely friendly so I would be suprised if there had been any trouble.
As the others have said, I think it probably depends on the breeds involved.
Good luck if you go ahead.
