Dudley (Boxer) the dog that broke his neck and lived to tell the tale

Who would have thought this gorgeous dude broke his neck at 13 weeks of age, but miracles can happen and he went on to be as strong as an ox, least it felt that way on the other end of the lead.

Amazing story,he was stunning.

What a remarkable recovery. He was a truly handsome lad, you must have been very proud to have owned him.

He is a real gorgeous boy...

We became very attached as you can imagine, I spent weeks sleeping on the floor with him willing him to live. I hand fed him home cooked food to tempt him to eat and got pee'd on for my trouble while he couldn't support himself, but he repaid it all a million times over. It's odd because apart from family I have never really talked about it, people used to look at me like I was mad when I said he had broken his neck. Little faith is the only other dog that I have come across in all this time to have had the same injury.

He must have been a really special lad, he looks so handsome in the picture and it makes me feel very humble when I hear what he came though. Just hope little Faith comes through it too, Healing vibes to her.
