Our Walk This Morning

I live in Egremont, Cumbria - lucky for us there are lots of lovely walks around here.

This one is literally 5mins down the road from us and takes you in a circle following the river. I love walks that incorporate different elements, I am a huge water lover and love views. But this walk also has glimpses of Dent (which is a nearby fell) and is lovely to walk around.

Ozzy particularly likes it not because of the views but there are sheep and chickens to look at (an old guy keeps hens in a fenced field and he loves to watch them but nothing else!) He also loves to stand elbow height in the water and lap it up

Here is the start of the walk at the beginning there is a path. I love the autumn foliage it is so pretty, the leaves are squelchy underfoot now though, I prefer it when they crunch!

The river is in full flow after heavy rains

This is after crossing over the bridge...

I had to show this one as I found it strange, see the white blob thing on it? Reminds me of "Most Haunted" the orbs floating!!! What was strange was Ozzy ran up to this bit and started barking as if he'd seen something - oh errr!!

Here you can see the rugby posts in the background, it is no longer used as a pitch. Sid used to play Rugby here as a kid!

Ozzy watching other dogs in the distance

Ohh my What Big Teeth You Have Grandma

Yip looks a lovely walk, I used to walk in Abronhill woods with Suki and there was this one tree that she hated dunno why, I read in a book some where to give the tree an offering at Halloween which we did, and she never barked at it again...strange but true...maybe your orb is the same ? Ozzy handsome as ever.
