Feeding Schedule

Once or twice a day? If you feed twice a day, how many hours in between meals? 8, 10, 12 hours? I'am just curious, I feed twice a day. Any input is Greatly appreciated!

well mine have food down all the time they help themselfs.
they seem to have 2 main feeding times 1 in the am and 1 at night but for ours they should have 2 a day so no big meals because of size etc.
i used to feed the boxers twice 1 in the am and if they cleared it offered more at the tea time.

I feed my lot twice a day with 12 + hrs in between. They are fed between 6 and 7 am and then again around 7pm. It is around 9pm on dog training nights as I have to there straight after work and dog walk, they dont seem to mind though.

I feed mine twice a day - one at 8.30am and then again around 7.30pm

I have always fed twice daily, my boys and girls have their breakfast at about 7.30 am and their tea at approx 4pm.

I always feed twice a day whatever the size of dog. have to say the times tend to be a tad flexible but with a 12hour gap

I also feed twice daily, 9 am and 6 pm. They also have a treat of fruit for supper around 9 pm

i feed twice a day - breakfast is around 6:30 each morning and second meal is any time after 4:00 depending on what is hapening that evening.

As our dog is raw fed he tends to have the RMB portion of his meal at night time so has all night to digest it so if we are going to training class he will have it when we get back. If the tide is in he will often have a swim before it gets dark and again will have a late meal so he eats after his exercise.

In the morning he has meat with no bones and has about three hours to digest his meal before going to the woods for an hours run off lead.

My three are fed twice a day - at around 6.30am and again around 4pm. I work so these are the best times for me. I used to only feed once a day some years ago, but now consider twice a day to be better.
