Finished my first day of puppy sitting..

..and now am ready to die!
Ralph and Zeuss ramsacked the place...play fought, ate, play fought some more, kept licking the cats ears whenever she came to observe the madness (god knows why?), ate some more, play fought some more..and didn't sleep once!
The destroyed a waste paper bin, Zeuss had numerous pee pee accidents (was difficult to keep eyes out for signs for squatting) and he wouldn't do anything everytime i took him outside as it was raining really hard.
Cor i'm shattered-still got tomorrow and friday from half eight till quarter to six!! and this will be three days a week...every week..confirmed for a month but possiblly a bit longer.
God what the hell have i agreed too!
Springers=maniacs, all over the place-generally loopy.
German Shorthaired Pointer=quite dignified, yet loud and can play forever.
Terrier=generally loud n rough.
All three together=needs a nice long hot bath to get over the ordeal!

WOW sounds like a hectic day! You'll have to put up your prices at this rate to cover an exhaustion fee .

Doing it as a favour for a cousin who has 'departed' from his fiancee and would have very little options if the puppysitting wasn't taking place..i don't mind really. Buuut it is bloody hard work!

Aw that's really kind of you. You could hone your training skills to while away the time maybe?

An example from today-Florrie, Ralph and Zeuss (GSP puppy i sit for) were ramasacking this bin..i called them..called them..called them-nothing! Even my approachong two year old, supposedlly trained dog refused to listen! I nearly gave myself a heart attack..think i would die if i attempted training of all three!
