Seeing deer was amazing, getting that close to take photo even more amazing I was CRAWLING through overgrown garden whilst trying not to startle them

But as you can see from photo the stag noticed!!!!

Beautiful pictures, looks a great place

We once saw a family of red deer running across the top of Place Fell above Ullswater in the Lake District, they were magnificent

Looks ideallic(sp?) to me - peace and quiet, wild animals,and gorgeous scenery, what more could you wish for! Glad you had a perfect holiday by the sounds of it and by the looks of it!
